Board President
Vanessa Zamora Moreno
Vanessa, a native of Bogotá, Colombia, established her roots in Montana in 2016. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Bienvenidos a Gallatin Valley. In addition to her professional role, Vanessa is the Co-founder and Executive Director of English Para Todos. Concurrently, she manages a local business that offers Latin dancing classes, contributing to the cultural enrichment of the Bozeman community. Actively engaged in community initiatives, Vanessa also served on the board of We Are Her, a local non-profit. Her roles in education, leadership, and community engagement reflect a dedication to global citizenship and local impact.
Executive Director
Kassidi Thompson
Kass currently serves as the Co-Founder and Executive Director of English Para Todos and brings an educational background of Neuroscience, Global Health, and Hispanic Studies. Kass also brings her leadership skills to the MSU Leadership Institute, where she mentors students and organizes development programs. Her diverse experience, including roles in research, project coordination, and community service, reflects her commitment to education and advocacy. Kass is passionate about fostering inclusive and supportive environments for learning and personal growth.
Instructor
Isaac Buttery
Originally from Colorado, Isaac moved to Bozeman to pursue a degree in Education and Latino Studies from Montana State University while being in the mountains he loves. He has a passion for teaching and helping others feel at home as well as being another welcoming face of the movement that makes Bozeman a place where people from all backgrounds can thrive. He brings a broad spectrum of experience in leadership, community development, and education. Isaac finds refreshment and beauty in the mountains of Montana, whether it be skiing, rock/ice climbing, or going for a walk in the park.

Jessie McCaw
Jessie is a Montana local with a passion for language and helping people love English learning. She is currently working on a Master’s of Arts in Teaching at Montana State University while balancing her love of attending community activities (if you see her say hello!) and all of her hobbies. Jessie loves all books, but especially Latin literature and horror novels. In her free time she can be found writing poetry, painting, and playing with her two spoiled rabbits.

Aydemar Guerrero
Transitioning from the vibrant tropics of Venezuela, to the serene snowscapes of Bozeman, Montana, has been an extraordinary journey. As a current student of financial engineering at MSU, my commitment to giving back to my Hispanic community has only grown stronger. Whether it's through volunteering or organizing events, I cherish the opportunity to uplift those around me. Embracing the outdoor wonders of Bozeman alongside my husband, dog, and cherished circle of family and friends adds immeasurable joy to my life.

PJ Diamond
Originally from PA, PJ moved to Bozeman, MT almost 4 years ago after living in Osaka, Japan for 4 years. With an educational background in Spanish, Portuguese, Latin American Studies, and Comparative Education Policy, PJ has dedicated the last decade to honing team leadership and cross-cultural language skills while cultivating strategic consultative approaches in working with public and private sector organizations around the world. By way of her lived experiences, PJ excels in building relationships, speaking to topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and is passionate about creating spaces in which all people are respected, celebrated, and able to thrive.

Stephanie Gray
Stephanie Gray has lived in Bozeman for 29 years during that time she has worked on policy issues for the Local Government Center, as a Youth Director for the HRDC and now as the Dean of Gallatin College. She has served on a variety of boards including Child Care Connections, a variety of youth sports boards and now on Prospera, Montana Chamber Foundation and Northern Rocky Mountain Economic Development District. Stephanie and Chris have raised 3 daughters that all live outside of Montana. We spend our time skiing, hiking and riding our mountain bikes. I have a strong commitment to community and want to use my time and skills working with community members trying to make small improvements wherever possible!

Barla Beaudoin
Barla is the daughter of an immigrant mother, and has always been passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is a lifelong advocate for immigrant rights and has spent her college career looking for ways to aid the Latine community. Barla has spent her time going on service trips to the U.S. Mexico border and tutoring local immigrant children in english. In her free time, Barla loves to explore different cultures, and she is a dancer, reader, and aspiring physician.
Conversation Nights Facilitator
Pablo Santibanez
Pablo is a counselor-in-training at Montana State University, pursuing his Master's of Science in Mental Health Counseling. He is originally from South Central Los Angeles where he grew up and obtained a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from University of California, Irvine. Pablo's work experience includes working with migrant populations from Central and South America, as well as working with nonprofits that serve individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Alycia Elfreich
Alycia (Aly) Elfreich is an Assistant Professor of Multicultural Education at Montana State University. Her work examines justice-oriented curriculum and pedagogy in teacher education, informal educational spaces, and school-community contexts. She has served in multiple capacities in community organizations and works to connect her students to these experiences. Aly’s passion lies within spaces where building relationships and meaningful community honor the complexity of the human experience and opportunities to listen and learn with one another. She has two boys and is always grateful when she is outdoors hiking and enjoying all of what Bozeman has to offer.
